No visit to Israel could miss out a tour of Jerusalem, one of the world’s most famous and religiously significant cities. The capital is packed full of UNESCO World Heritage sites including the Temple Mount ,the Wailing Wall and the Mount of Olives.
The Dead Sea is another Israeli highlight, its mineral-rich waters attracting visitors from all over the world for their beautifying and therapeutic properties. The surrounding area is also well worth touring, in particular the Qumran Caves where the Ancient Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered.
The Sea of Galilee is popular as a holiday destination for its beaches and opportunity for water sports, and is also a sought after location for Christians, said to be the place Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist.
