Southern Israel is home to many exciting attractions and popular destinations.

The Negev is traversed by Route 40, a road that crosses from north to south Israel, linking Beer Sheva and Mitzpe Ramon with Eilat. The route takes in many of the Negev’s top attractions on the way including many of the sites located in the Ramat Negev region such as Sdeh Boker, Ein Ovdat and the Wine Route Farms. The Mitzpe Ramon Crater is one of the wonders of the world and should figure highly on a trip to southern Israel. The Visitor Center located here tells the story of the formation of the crater, the largest of its type in the world. Right down in the south of Israel is the country’s best known resort, Eilat, famous for its glorious beaches and coral reef.

Getting between all these areas is simple since you can pick up a hire car from Eldan at 6 key locations.
